Our clinical researchers wanted to understand whether an in-clinic demonstration helps clients better experience the real-world benefits of hearing technology, and whether that influences their decision to move forward. In a UK study of 26,888 clients, outcomes were compared between those who received a product demonstration during the appointment and those who did not.
The results showed that hands-on listening can make a meaningful difference: the likelihood that clients went on to adopt hearing technology and continue their hearing care journey increased by up to 24 percentage points.¹
It’s also about more than hearing aid adoption. Demonstrations can help clients and their significant others better understand the real-world value of advanced hearing aid features and compatible accessories. By making that value easier to hear and compare, clients can make more informed decisions and feel more confident in the solution they choose.
