The 8th European Pediatric Conference: Advancing care for children with hearing loss

Thomas Wiesner
Dr. med. Thomas Wiesner is an ENT specialist with additional specialization in phoniatrics and paediatric audiology. After training as a hearing aid acoustician, he dedicated more than 35 years to supporting children with hearing loss, including children with complex disabilities and severe speech and language needs. He has contributed to national and international best-practice work, helped establish early infant hearing-aid fitting and newborn hearing screening with follow-up in Hamburg.
