Rachel Eastwood

Rachel, M.Sc., RAud, is a pediatric audiologist passionate about advocacy and self-advocacy for children with hearing loss. She earned her Master’s in Audiology from the University of British Columbia and holds a background in linguistics and psychology. Before her audiology career, she worked as a teaching assistant for Deaf and hard-of-hearing preschool and kindergarten students. A dedicated athlete, Rachel has been a member of the Deaf National Women's Volleyball Team since 2015, competing in international tournaments, including two Deaflympics. Now serving as team captain, she is training for the 2025 Deaflympics in Tokyo.
