Janet lives in Colorado, USA with her husband Joe and is mom to Sara, a young adult who is hard of hearing. Janet is co-founder and the Executive Director of Hands & Voices, a parent driven organization. Janet has presented to groups worldwide about the experiences of families as they journey through life with a child with deafness or hearing loss and is the author of many publications. She has served as a parent representative on many Boards and advisories in career.
